Over sixty years ago our founder, Edward M. Kula, came home to Hartford, Connecticut after serving his country in World War II. Having developed a passion for photography in the service, he founded Kula Photo in 1944. His warm personality and drive for perfection insured a thriving business. Shortly after opening his studio, he began his own photographic processing to guarantee the prints his clients received were up to his high standard of excellence. Other photographers, along with local manufacturing companies, state agencies, and law firms soon began bringing their photographic needs to his firm as his reputation for delivering quality photographic products grew.
Today Kula Photo, managed by his son, Brad, still upholds that level of service and quality begun so long ago; a rarity in many businesses today.
