Our custom digital prints span the size range of wallets up to prints 44"x72" and larger and are available on a variety of surfaces to suit your requirements. They can be made from your negatives, transparencies, and electronic media to your precise specifications including specific density, contrast, color hue and saturation. Any image manipulation you may require is also available. Imprinting of text in or outside of photos to make composites is easily accomplished (see Scanning & Digital Copywork section). Prints up to 10x15 are generally printed on photographic papers. If sizes above 10x15 are required please see our custom inkjet section below.
The above prints are available in either glossy or matte lustre surface. They also can be ordered with borders or borderless. Please state your preference when ordering. Note: The above quantity pricing reflects prints made from the same image. Print Matching to supplied originals is priced at 100% over the first print price for the intial print. Multiples thereafter are as above. Large orders of various 4x6 sized prints, however, may be priced at less than .40 each. Please call or email us with your quantity information.

DIGITAL PACKAGE PRINTS are also available from negatives and transparencies, or from digital files as listed below. Just tell us the size and corresponding package letter you require from your film or file. These prints are available in either glossy or matte lustre surfaces. After the initial cost of the first print, additional prints from the same image will only cost $1.00 each for the 8x10 print size and only $2.00 each for the 10x12 print size. Other variations of package printing can be created specifically for your particular needs. Please inquire.
DIGITAL 10x12 PROOF SHEETS, available from CD's, digital camera media, or your e-mailed files, are priced at $10.00 per sheet and are available in either glossy or matte/lustre surfaces. They are quite valuable for cataloging large numbers of electronic files much in the same way as the standard proof sheet made from film is used. Thirty six images per sheet is generally an optimium quantity and equates to an approximate size of one by one and half inches per image. An example of these proof sheets is represented below. They may be ordered with as many images per sheet as you desire but remember that the more images the smaller the size of that image on the sheet.

Above photographic digital prints will not meet everyone's needs. Therefore we offer an alternative and can produce custom inkjet (Gicl'ee) prints for your use. This includes 8x10 and larger prints. These custom inkjets are created from either digital files or scanned film and flat copy (see Scanning & Digital Copywork) and have a multitude of surfaces to choose from to meet your every need. These surfaces are available on prints below 8x10 but will be priced at that price if required. If either glossy or matte lustre prints on photo paper are fine up to 10x15 please see the above photographic print section. Inkjet prints on glossy stock are only available up to 24x30 in size. Larger sized prints need to have a glossy laminate applied. Our inks are archival and water resistent and can be applied to the various surfaces listed below.
Paper Prints

LUSTRE SURFACE: This is our standard surface for paper prints and matches the above matte lustre surface on our custom photographic prints. It has a rich sheen is direct light and is useful in most applications.

MATTE SURFACE: This paper surface is truly matte as it does not reflect any light at all. It's ideal in difficult lighting situations where glare is a problem.
Specialty Prints

CANVAS SURFACE: As its name implies this material is excellent for recreating the look of oil paintings whether it be painting reproduction or fine portraiture. It can be mounted directly to our available substrates or on stretcher strips before framing. When stretcher strips are used the image can be wrapped around the strtcher for free hanging without framing. A 3 dimensional effect is gained by emploing this mounting procedure commonly known as Canvas Wraps.

WATERCOLOR SURFACE: This is a rich double weight material that is indistringuishable from actual watercolor paper. It has no reflectivity so glare is never a problem and its intensity must be seen to be appreciated. It is certainly ideal for all fine art applications and large wedding prints.

VINYL SURFACE: This material is durable and ideal for use where banners are required. Grommets may be installed by us for easy hanging. It should be noted that this material is for indoor use only unless a laminate is applied after printing.

BACKLITE SURFACE: This material is translucent and is meant to be lit from behind and is generally used in light boxes for point of purchace displays and trade shows. It is much less costly than duratrans material and far superior in application and looks. Also its surface is truly matte and wards off any possible glare problems form outside light sources as point spots or flood lights.

Holiday Greeting Cards are a specialty item at Kula Photo and are generally used for the winter holidays.
